Giving to Advance Floortime!

by admin on December 2, 2014

Today as you experience this season of gratitude and gift-giving, be sure to ensure the ongoing survival of Floortime as a treatment option! Floortime is the child-centered, family-centered, play-based treatment approach to growing a child into a socially and emotionally flourishing, whole person! The DIRFloortime Coalition of California absolutely needs your monthly support (click the Donate Online button on the right) to register your support for parents having the option to choose developmental treatment options for their loved ones!!

This year with your support, we flew in Dr. Rick Solomon to share his just-published, largest-ever comparative treatment outcome study of children with autism. He presented the NIH-funded hard evidence of the substantial and meaningful changes in children who received just one year of minimal Floortime intervention compared with children who received the standard behavioral treatment option.

But we CANNOT continue next year without an outpouring of monthly financial commitments from all those parents and professionals around the state and country who wish to see Floortime remain available to families as an option for helping their loved ones in the most positive, joyous, and loving way possible.

Andrea Davis,
President
DIRFloortime Coalition of California
